On Thursday, March 28, we returned home to Jacmel. There were rumors of demonstrations starting up again, and we did not want to get in the middle of them. So, we were able to contact Roger, the pilot who has a small airplane that flies to Jacmel. We arrived in Port au Prince around 4 p.m. and met with one of the young men who is now studying in Port au Prince to be a doctor. He got a taxi to take us to the small airport next to the main airport. Within a half hour, we were on our way to Jacmel.
There is no place like home!
