Exciting things are happening at The House of Bread Bakery! Day by day, we are moving closer to opening our doors and bringing this special vision to life.
The finishing touches on our main entrance gates are underway, giving the bakery a beautiful step toward welcoming its future visitors.
Inside, the small stove for the café has been installed, and the propane gas is in place. The aroma of fresh possibilities is already in the air!
Our new baker, Jefferson, is beginning to show us what he can do. His delicious breads are just a taste of what is to come.
And there’s even more exciting news—he has a wonderful recipe for Haitian pizza that we can’t wait to share!
Meanwhile, Marmara and Sister Julitta are overseeing the many finishing touches throughout the bakery and café, making sure everything is coming together just as it should.
There is a beautiful saying that seems especially fitting for this moment: The yeast is rising, and so is The House of Bread!
What began as a vision is becoming a reality. Soon, this bakery will be more than a place for fresh bread and delicious food. It will be a place of welcome, fellowship, nourishment, and service—a place where we can serve God’s people in many wonderful ways.
