“…for I have learned, in whatever situation I find myself, to be ­self-sufficient. I know indeed how to live in humble circumstances…” Philippians 4:11-12

To walk in relationship with our Haitian brothers and sisters is a humbling experience. As we walk the streets and visit people in their homes, we hear again and again how they make do with what they have. They learn how to be self-sufficient in humble circumstances. We always say, that where we are, we can see the Kingdom of God, the face of Jesus in those made poor.
