On Friday, July 4, we returned to Jacmel after two weeks of meetings in the States. Our meetings and gatherings were fruitful in our efforts to accompany our brothers and sisters in Haiti. However, it is so good to be back home in Jacmel.
As soon as we drove up to the gate of our home, we were welcomed with joy and smiling faces from our kids who helped carry our suitcases. Always, when we return, there is much to do in the house as far as cleaning. Yesterday we spent the whole day cleaning and preparing to begin our summer activities on Monday.
Today we are being obedient to Pope Francis’ call to “keep Sunday free from work.” We are spending more time in prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and strengthening relationships as we enter a new week with our brothers and sisters.

Glad you are obedient to the Pope. Also to the ten Commandments. You also need to be obedient to the needs of the body…,glad you can do that. It was so good to see you. wishing you a blessed week, S MaryAnne
